Wendy was born in Redhill, Surrey in 1943.

She paints in all media, including watercolour, gouache, acrylics and oils. She is a member of the Society of Women Artists (SWA) and the National Acrylic Painters Association.

Major exhibitions that she has had have been at Burford Gallery in Oxfordshire, The First Floor Gallery in Romsey. The Mall Gallery in London, The Westminster Gallery in London, The Wykeham Gallery in Stockbridge, The St Ives Society of Artists in Cornwall, The John Bourne Gallery in Reigate, The Century Gallery in Hartley Whitney, and has an annual "At Home Exhibition" at her studio in Lymingon.

In 1977 she won a prize for the best exhibit at the Society of Women Artists in London.

She is an accredited demonstrator for Caran D'ache, Swan Stabilo, Windsor and Newton, Liquiflex, at the artists Materials exhibition in London and Art in Action - Oxon, Southern Art - Ringwood. Tutor for Caran D'ache trained in Zurich, Switzerland to teach their demonstrators.

She has tutored at many art centres across the British Isles: Earnley Concourse; Chichester, West Dean, Sussex; Missenden Abbey, Bucks; Penleigh House, Westbury; Dartington Hall, Devon; Urchfond Manor, Devizes; and the Wye Valley Arts Centre, Lydney.
