Thirty years later, recovering from a serious illness and living in Chelsea, Barbara went out and bought paints and brushes. She set about creating pictures rooted in Mousehole, where she soon moved to. Barbara has exhibited in the RONA Gallery in London and was a member of ABNA (The Association of British Naive Artists).
Sadly Barbara, who lived in Mousehole for the last part of her life, died in the Summer of 2008. She used to love to come into the gallery to see what new paintings we had in the gallery, and to see what we had sold. She had a great spirit and was a lovely lady and we miss her popping in to pass the day with us.
