Anne was born in Cheltenham in 1942. She is a self-taught artist living in Devon with her husband Lionel, also an artist. A Founder Member and past President of The Society of Feline Artists, Anne works using colour pencil on Canson paper. She specialises in portraying domestic cats and kittens in varied settings, rich in colour and with attention to detail. She also enjoys drawing other animals and children, but cats are her first love!

Anne accepts commissions. Her work is in private collections in the UK and Germany. She won the WHISKAS award for Best Cat Picture at Olympia in 1994. Following this she was commissioned to do the portraits of the Champion Pet Cat winners at Olympia for the next two years. Her work is well known in the form of greetings cards and calendars for several major firms. She was commissioned to design eight collectors plates depicting felines, for the Royal Albert range by Royal Doulton. She has been a member of the Newton St Cyres Art Group for over twenty years.

Anne has exhibited in many group exhibitions, including the Society of Feline Artists at Patchings, Llewellyn Alexander (Fine Paintings) Ltd, and the Clifton Gallery in Bristol. Also with the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts Open Exhibition 2000 and the Lion House Gallery in Moretonhampstead. Shared exhibitions with her husband Lionel include Bad Homburg Germany, The Royal Clarence Hotel in Exeter and the John Davies Gallery at Stow-in-the-Wold.
